Red Cap Designing is looking for a Programmer to join our CoreOS group. This job centers around RHEL CoreOS and Fedora CoreOS, which are holder advanced working frameworks. You will team up with engineers, item directors, and local area individuals to make new elements for the quickly advancing holder arrangement space. This job gives a potential chance to work in a coordinated climate, adding to highlight improvements, bug fixes, and test robotization.
You’ll be engaged with characterizing engineering, composing and checking on code, fixing bugs, refreshing documentation, and working with cross-practical groups to plan extensive arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Maintenance:
Contribute to new development and maintain existing infrastructure for CoreOS.
Enhance build and testing pipelines and investigate failures in upstream communities.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work within a scrum team to complete tasks and provide sprint demos.
Collaborate with upstream communities like Fedora, Fedora CoreOS, OKD, and Kubernetes.
Testing and Documentation:
Ensure accurate test plans and documentation for the code you develop.
Design and implement automated test cases.
Bug Fixing and Security:
Analyze defects, design solutions, and engineer fixes.
Respond quickly to security threats.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with Linux.
Familiarity with Linux containers or Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Hands-on experience with git.
Programming skills in Golang, Rust, or Python.
Ability to learn new programming languages.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Effective code review experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
