Your Day at NTT DATA
As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L1), we play a key role in ensuring that your firewall and safety infrastructure is secure and ready for operation. Your responsibility is as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
✔ SIEM Management – Configure, monitor, and maintain SIEM systems to detect and respond to security threats.
✔ Incident Response – Investigate alerts, manage security incidents, and follow documented procedures.
✔ Threat Detection – Use SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, EDR, and vulnerability scanning tools to analyze security events.
✔ Forensic Analysis – Examine system logs, reconstruct event histories, and assist in forensic investigations.
✔ Automation & Optimization – Develop scripts and workflows to enhance security operations efficiency.
✔ Compliance & Reporting – Ensure SIEM aligns with security policies and compliance requirements.
✔ Collaboration – Work with IT and security teams to mitigate threats and improve defences.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic understanding of SIEM, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with incident response and security monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment (if required).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
