What You’ll Do
- As Engineer I, you play a key role in our digital transformation journey. They work with talented teams to design, develop and maintain automated solutions that improve service delivery and customer care. Your work includes innovative technologies and global markets and develops the future of American Express’s Global Services Group (GSG).
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user needs and design automation solutions
- Build and deploy platform automations for internal Amex users.
- Identify automation opportunities using tools like OCR, APIs, AI, and machine learning.
- Create reusable assets and documentation for each project.
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and improve automation systems.
- Collaborate in an agile team to drive consistent development practices.
- Share knowledge and best practices with peers to boost team skills.
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all project milestones.
Tech Skills We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates with experience in modern and traditional tech stacks:
- Generative AI: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, BERT, GPT, SpaCy, Pandas, Docker, AWS Sagemaker.
- Traditional Automation: Java, C#, Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Scikit-learn, REST APIs, SQL.
- DevOps & Cloud: Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD pipelines.
- Frameworks: Selenium, Ansible, Apache Airflow
